iOS 16.7 Jailbreak Overview (2026 Refresh)
iOS 16.7.x is a mature firmware. Here is the jailbreak status for this version:
- checkm8 Devices (A11 & older): iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X can be jailbroken on any iOS 16.7.x version using palera1n. Note that you must disable your passcode/FaceID on A11 devices.
- A12+ Devices (iPhone XS & newer): There is currently no jailbreak tool supporting iOS 16.7.1 - 16.7.10. Users on these versions are advised to stay put and block OTA updates.
